In 1992, the mobile medical unit of the ashrama was started under the guidance and interest of Swami Viswanathanandaji Maharaj, the then secretary of our ashrama. Since then this project has been tirelessly helping and providing free service to the poor people, belong to the outskirts of the city. It provides service to the people of Jhamapukur, Cossipore, Bagbazar, Napara, Baranagore, Pramodnagar, Sinthee etc. a day weekly for each of the places and it also serves people of the under developed section of the society who don’t live in the aforesaid areas
